Formed in January 1987 the Australian Quadriplegic Association (AQA) for more than 30 years has resourced people whose lives have been disrupted by injuries, illnesses and other events to participate in all aspects of life and contribute.

In 2022 AQA engaged CHS Healthcare to create an accessible bathroom by installing a ceiling lift system and independent lifter at the AQA head office in Fairfield Victoria.

In addition to assisting staff with toileting this new facility will be used for rehabilitation and training. AQA has a history of training industry participants and coaches whose services are available informally and through the NDIS.
