OUR EXPERIENCE
Stan has a fractured neck of femur, arthritis in his hip and lower limbs, anxiety and high blood pressure. Stan has a care package of two carers that visit daily to assist with personal care tasks, which include turning Stan in bed. Stan weighs 172kg and has minimal ability to participate in the task.
Scope is a disability service provider, supporting individuals with physical, intellectual or multiple disabilities and their families.
A group of parents based in Geelong embarked on a joint project to build a brand new five-bedroom, three-bathroom share house, specifically designed for five disabled women.
