Connectus Portable Hoist Connection System is setting new standards in healthcare. It eliminates lifting of arm reachers and is effective in saving time in connecting and disconnecting patients while lowering the strain on personnel. Using the Connectus ballchain, designed for improved grip, you are able to lower the strap to the desired height. With no reaching or strain the caregiver only needs to connect any CHS portable hoist unit with the swivel buckle to the Connectus strap. This enables the patient to be rotated through 360 degrees once lifted. Connectus also incorporates the patented dual action buckle release where coordinated pressure is required for release. Importantly the buckle will not release if one side is pressed only or if it is under load. Within seconds and without reaching or straining your portable hoist is ready for use. Retention magnets on both sides of the portable hoist unit pull the chain away from carers and patients during the lifting process. As there is no chain or arm reacher in place carers can move about freely and the travel of the hoist is not impeded.
